Hola a todos!!! En esta ocasión voy a compartir con ustedes, y nuevamente gracias al aporte de pmanuelo, una de las mejores secuencias de secuestro que se haya visto, la cuál ocurrió en la telenovela "Sunset Beach", siendo protagonizada por la bellísima actriz mexicana con nacionalidad estadounidense y ex-miss U.S.A, Laura Harring. Al inicio del video, la oficial de policia Paula Stevens (Laura Harring) espera ansiosa en su casa la llegada de su prometido, sin percatarse que alguien está escondido en el armario. Muy ilusionada, ella se mira en el espejo, contemplando su anillo de compromiso, y ensaya el "Si quiero" que dirá el día de su boda. Repentinamente, el tipo que estaba escondido en el armario, que es un colega a quien Paula rechazó, la soprende por detras, sujetandola confirmeza mientras le aplica un pañuelo empapado con cloroformo el el rostro. Paula intenta resistirse, perdiendo un collar en la lucha, pero de todos modos se desmaya al respirar los vapores anestésicos. En la guarida de su captor, Paula, que ya ha sido vendada en los ojos y amordazada, es recostada y atada a una cama mientras es obligada a escuchar una grabación con la voz distrosionada. Cuando se encuentra sola en la habitación, forcejea con sus amarres hasta que finalmente una de sus manos queda libre, pero su captor llega a tiempo, evitando que se quite la venda y que lo reconozca, y esta vez la esposa a la cama. Llena de impotencia, Paula grita e interroga a su captor sobre sus intenciones, obteniendo como respuesta que este la bese. Ante esa situación, ella intenta seducirlo para conseguir que la libere. Su enamorado se encuentra confundido al principio, cuando ella le pide que la bese, pero se da cuenta de la estatagema y, tras arrancarle los botones de la camisa y dejándo a la vista el brasier amarillo que cubre sus pechos, vuelve a dejarla sola y encerrada. Más tarde, Paula escucha abrirse la puerta y que alguien ingresa en la habitación. Esperanzada, le pregunta si ha venido a rescatarla, pero este nuevo sujeto le quita la venda de los ojos y le pide que trate de reconocerlo, puesto que es un peligroso maniático que actua en complicidad con el primer captor. Cuando vuelve a quedar sola, Paula supone que salir de ese lugar va a depender de ella, por lo que se concentra en abir sus esposas. Una vez que consigue liberar sus manos y sus pies, descubre que una camara de seguridad vigila todos sus movimientos. Entendiendo que ya no hay vuelta atras, Paula comienza a forzar la cerradura, rogando que ninguno de sus captores la esté viendo en ese momento. Finalmente, la puerta se abre, pero antes de que pueda escapar el segundo captor la intercepta. Luego, ella es llevada a otro lugar, donde es atada a una silla junto a una mesa repleta de jeringas y otros instrumentos. Paula intenta desesperadaente recordar quien es ese tipo y de hablar con él para convencerlo de dejarla ir, pero pornto descubre que es un psicótico mucho mas peligroso e inestable que quien la capturó primero. Mientras duerme, ella recuerda todos los momentos que pasó junto a su novio. Por su parte, su captor aprovechó para decorar el lugar con velas y para acariciarla cuando estaba balbuceando seminconciente. Entonces, Paula despierta y, al notar la mano de su captor sobre su rostro, lo muerde con fuerza e intenta escapar, pero es tackleada antes de que consiga llegar a la puerta. Su captor la inmoviliza boca abajo en el suelo sujetádole las piernas, haciendo que ella agite de manera sensual sus caderas para tratar de liberarse, y la inyecta en una de sus nalgas, por lo que pierde el conociemiento casi instantaneamente frente al poderoso anestésico. Luego, Paula recupera el sentido y se sorprende al descubrir que está usando un vestido de novia. Viendo talvez su ultima oportunidad para poder escapar de allí, decide actuar frente a su maniático captor, haciendole creer que está enamorada de él y que acepta casarse con él. Cuando la deja sola, Paula ve una pequeña ventana rota e intenta arrojar por allí su anillo de compromiso con el fin de que alguien pueda verlo e ir a buscar ayuda, pero queda atorado entre unos alambres. Al regresar su captor, ella intenta seguir con su convincente actuación. Sin embargo, él parece sospechar algo, por lo que revisa instintivamente la ventana rota apenas segundos despues de que el anillo cayera al piso, y se desequilibra completamente tornandose agresivo e inestable con Paula al darse cuenta de que está tratando de manipularlo. El psicótico se va furioso de ese lugar, y Paula aprovecha para arrojar una vez mas su anillo, haciendolo con éxito esta vez. Pero entonces su captor regresa con un pañuelo blanco y un frasco lleno de cloroformo que destapa con sus dientes. Ella lo observa, dubitativa, mientras él se acerca con el pañuelo al cual ya ha impregnado con cloroformo, y le pregunta desafiante que es lo que va a hacerle. Sin darle tiempo a reaccionar, el maniático captor tapa la nariz y la boca de Paula con el pañuelo, sosteniéndolo allí hasta que su preciada víctima vuelve a desmayarse. Cuando despierta, Paula se percata de que se encuentra nuevamente sola, amordazada con cinta y con sus muñecas atadas al alambrado de ese sitio repleto de velas, y comienza a gemir con fuerza y a retorcerse, esperando que alguien llegue a rescatarla...
